The two day collections of Thugs of Hindostan is around 3.2 Million USD Thugs of Hindostan has showed negligible growth on Saturday at the Chinese Box Office when most of the films see growth on Saturday in China. There was increment in the show count from 27,000 to 33,000 but the collections show a growth on only 10 % which clearly seals the fate of the film in China.
The film will barely touch 10 Million USD lifetime at the Chinese Box Office. Going by the 25 % gross to share ratio for non Chinese films, the distributor share will be in the range of 2.5 Million USD. The film was sold for close to 15-16 Million USD so the film is set to lose around 80% of its investment at the Chinese Box Office.
The producers and Aamir Khan have earned more than 100 crores from China but the distributors will lose around 80 odd crores from Thugs of Hindostan. Thugs Of Hindostan is the first major failure of Aamir Khan in this decade and it has failed across globe. The number of shows might be decreased over the first weekend itself.
