Rajinikanth's Petta has scored a good first week in Tamil Nadu as it has scored with around 60 crore gross at the box office whereas it has scored around 7.5 crore Gross in its Telugu version. The Collections is around 15 crore in Karnataka and around 6.5 crore from Kerala. The Hindi version is a pure washout with horrible collections of 2.25 crore Gross.
The worldwide collections should be around 150 crore plus mark comfortably at the box office.
The Break Up of Collections for the first week (7 Day) is as follows
- Tamil Nadu - 60 crore Gross
- Kerala - 6.5 crore Gross
- Karnataka - 15 crore Gross
- Telugu (AP/Telangana) - 7.5 crore Gross
- Hindi - 2.25 crore Gross
- Rest of India (Tamil & Telugu) - 3.75 crore

Thala Ajith's Viswasam has scored a very good first week in Tamil Nadu has scored with around 70 crore gross at the box office. The Collections are around 7.8 crore in Karnataka and around crore from Kerala. The Hindi version is a pure washout with horrible collections of 2.25 crore Gross.
The film has become the second highest grosser of Ajith in Tamil Nadu beating Vivegam in its first week itself. Next target is Vedalam and it should done by today or tomorrow. The worldwide collections has crossed the 100 crore mark
