The full fledged advance booking will open on 1st September across the country in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu version as the film is set for a record breaking advance booking at the box office.
The film has plans to open its advance box office booking for shows as early as 6 - 7 AM in some theaters, a phenomenon common for South Indian films but an extreme rarity for Hindi films, thus clearly indicating the insane hype and euphoria surround the film. The collections are going to be record breaking.
The partial holiday on 7th September (Janmasthami), its opening day, is going to boost the already insane numbers to an even more insane number as the holiday is relevant for most of the Hindi film circuits as mentioned here.

Shah Rukh Khan currently holds the advance booking record with Pathaan. Pathaan had sold around 5.5 lakh tickets in the national PIC (PVR - Inox - Cinepolis) chains for its opening day and overall total weekend advance booking was around 53 crore. Jawan will likely challenge/beat this number and we will get to know about the exact scenario in few days.
