King of Kotha has collected around 10.8 crores over its extended four day weekend at the Kerala box office. RDX starring Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese and Neeraj Madhav has collected 6.8 crore over its three day week at the Kerala box office. Nivin Pauly's Ramachandra Boss and Co has collected around 1.6 crore over the three days.
RDX has the best trend for all the Malayalam films released over the weekend, the only new release to have good word of mouth amongst the films released on Onam Weekend. RDX will easily end up being the highest Onam grosser at the box office.
King Of Kotha has collected at decent levels in spite of negative word of mouth but the overall weekend trend is quite poor considering the huge first day it scored at the box office. Nivin Pauly's film is a theatrical disaster at the box office with poor numbers and an equally poor trend at the box office owing to the terrible word of mouth.
The total worldwide collections for King of Kotha will be around 30 crores gross from all its versions followed by RDX at around 10-11 crores gross collections. With the Onam holidays coming it into play now, RDX should eventually be able to beat the numbers of King of Kotha in long run at the box office.
