Jawan has scored an opening weekend of around 180 crores which is an insane 12 % higher than previous opening weekend record of Pathaan (161 crore). These numbers are mind-boggling to say the least. The film scored its highest day on Saturday beating Opening Day and that is when the opening day was already at an insane level.
The Total Collections of Jawan from all the versions stand at 200 Crore which is around 20 % higher than previous record holder for a Bollywood movie, Pathaan (165+ crore). Jawan is looking at an extended weekend collection of 240-250 crore in Hindi and around 270-280 crore from all the versions and these numbers are significant higher than the four day collections of Pathaan.
Shah Rukh Khan is right now competing with himself as far as records are concerned. He is shattering each and every record with Jawan. Jawan has showcased an insane trend over the weekend at the box office. The film had a record opening day, a huge second day (-25 % from Day 1) and an another record day 3 (+40 % from Day 2) at the box office and more than the numbers, it is strong trend of the movie over the weekend inspite of record levels of business at the box office, that catches the eye and a testament to strong word of mouth of the film.
