Vicky Kaushal - Tripti Dimri's Bad Newz has showcased below par growth on Saturday at the box office as the collections couldn't cross the double digit mark.
Bad Newz 2nd Day Saturday Collection suggest a number of around 10 crore taking the 2 Day Total Business to 18.25 crore.
Bad Newz has barely showcased a growth of around 18% from Friday which is a below average trend for a normal film and it is quite bad for a urban centric film.
Bad Newz is doing well in Delhi NCR and East Punjab belt owing to setting of the film but it couldn't showcase good trend in Mumbai today which signals mixed word of mouth.
Bad Newz is now the second urban centric film post pandemic after Crew to showcase limited growth on Saturday after scoring a good opening day.
It is highly unlikely that Bad Newz will showcase any major growth tomorrow so the film is now targeting 28 crore range first weekend at the box office.
Bad Newz can still sustain in long run if it continues to outperform in North Belt at the box office like Dream Girl 2 and Fukrey 3 but that looks slightly dicey after today's number.
